Nickel-plated Ndfeb magnets are made from an alloy of neodymium, iron & boron and are plated with a triple layer of: Ni-Cu-Ni (Nickel-Copper-Nickel) using an electrolytic based process for maximum protection against corrosion & oxidation.
There are one or two countersunk holes in the block neodymium pot magnet, which can be used with countersunk head screws, and fixed on the equipment, wall and other places.
Alnico deep pot magnet are very popular in clamping applications because you can simply bolt them onto your assembly. The larger units provide very powerful clamping forces, with the mild steel outer cup providing protection and mechanical strength to the pot magnet and inner magnet. Because the mild steel is threaded, reasonably high torque can be applied to securely hold the pot magnet in place.
The steel housing provides a safe place for the magnets embedded in it. Most pot magnets can be heated to temperatures up to 80°C without losing their magnetization
